Chapter Meeting & Breakfast

February 6, 2020 @ 7:45 am10:15 am EST

Hot Topics in the Meetings Industry

In many industries, the link between academic research and the industries that could benefit the most from that research is not always the strongest. This is especially true with the hospitality industry. There are numerous universities right in our backyards that are not only educating future hospitality professionals, but are also performing compelling research that could benefit our industry. During this program, we will invite professors from local universities to share their ongoing and recently completed, unbiased research on assorted hot topics for the meetings industry. Be prepared to look at the meetings industry from a different perspective, and provide feedback on popular subjects.

Learning Objectives:
1) Discuss hot topics in the hospitality industry with academic leaders
2) Apply the research presented to your day-to-day work
