Session One: State of the Industry Panel
What does the future hold for suppliers and planners as we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic? What is the state of the meeting planning industry with regards to current planning challenges, future bookings, the economy, event design, etc.? How are suppliers and planners working together to bring constituents back to in-person events? How have decision-making processes been affected for suppliers and planners? How are planners conceiving their events in light of changes to technology and access to content, and how are they thinking about and creating sustainable event models post-COVID? A panel of industry professionals will join us for a moderated discussion on these topics. Speakers TBA.

Session Two: Current and Future Legal Considerations in Event Planning
As we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, planners are getting back to the business of finalizing contracts placed on hold or booking new business for 2021 and beyond. What has changed in contracting since COVID-19? What should planners and suppliers be aware of and, more importantly, how can these stakeholders work together to create contracts that are beneficial and protective for both parties? Join us for a conversation with Joshua L. Grimes, Esq., Attorney at Law, Grimes Law Offices, LLC, to learn more about trends in contracting and legal considerations.
