NonCon:  Immediate Solutions for Your Immediate Challenges

9:00am-10:00am; 10:45am-12:15pm
Have a burning issue that needs to be addressed? Questions that you’ve always wanted answered?  Come to our NonCon session to find immediate solutions for your challenges today.  We will be building the content for this session LIVE, with your input, in an unconference format (for more information on unconferences, check out this article). Be prepared to come with questions you want answered, challenges you’d like to be addressed, and issues that need a solution.  We’ll collect that information, prioritize the topics, and have facilitator led short discussions to address them.  Don’t miss this new and innovative educational format, and get ready to participate in this highly interactive session.
Learning Objectives:
1. Learn about the unconference format, and the advantages and challenges of the format.
2.  Apply the unconference format during this session.

Experience Design from Unconventional Sources

1:15pm-2:00pm; 2:15pm-3:00pm
Experience design is the practice of designing products, processes, services, events, and environments with the focus placed on the quality of the user experience.  Finding experience design inspiration is not just limited to looking at other events, but can be found from other unconventional sources.  In this session, we’ll hear from restauranteurs and museum exhibit designers on how they design their guests’ experiences, manage their guests’ expectations, and ultimately delight and deliver them value.
Learning Objectives:
1.       Identify the elements of successful experience design.
2.       Analyze the elements of a positive guest experience and apply them at your meetings.
