Midday Break: Legal Matters in Meetings and Events

June 25 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EDT

Free

Confused about how you will handle risk management and contracting in a post COVID-19 world? This dynamic session will discuss key legal matters that you can use to begin to protect yourself and your organization. Our speaker will be Joshua L. Grimes, Esq., Attorney & President of Grimes Law Offices, LLC. Joshua has an extensive background in hospitality and meetings, and will cover hot topics such as force majeure, COVID-19 waivers, travel bans and event cancellation.

  • Registration is required to attend.
  • There is no fee to attend, but please consider making a donation to the GPHA COVID-19 Hospitality Workers Relief Fund. 100% of the donation you make will go directly to Philadelphia hospitality employees who have been furloughed, laid off or lost their jobs.
  • Attendance is limited to the first 100 people that signup. If you sign up and find that you cannot attend, please contact gppcma@comcast.net to cancel your registration.
  • Membership to the PCMA PHL chapter is not required to attend.
