Join us for the PCMA PHL Chapter Retreat on July 19-20! This year’s Chapter Retreat will be held at the Wind Creek Bethlehem, and will include opportunities for education, networking, socializing, and fun!

July 19th:
2:15-4:00 PM: Community Service Activity: Second Harvest, Nazareth, PA (off-site; meet at hotel)

5:00-7:00 PM: Opening Reception
July 20th:
8:00-9:00 AM: Continental Breakfast, Registration
9:00-9:30 AM: Welcome, Chapter Updates, Sponsor Presentations
9:30-10:15 AM: Jessica Harrington, MPH, Owner, Stress Management; Health Educator, Journey to Yourself: Interactive session on managing stress and burnout
10:15-10:45 AM: Break
10:45-11:15 AM: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Committee Discussion: Engage in a discussion with committee members about what you’d like to see included about DEIA at the Chapter level.
11:15-11:45 AM: Best Practices Activity: Bring your best business/professional “hack” to share with others.

Membership Requirements: To attend the Chapter Retreat, you must be a PCMA member in good standing including an active membership with the PCMA Greater Philadelphia Chapter. For more information about membership, click here. If you are a member of PCMA, but not a member of the Philadelphia Chapter, please add Philadelphia as a secondary chapter for $30.00. Email [email protected] with the request to add the chapter to your membership. After payment, please send confirmation to [email protected], and then register for the meeting.
Hotel accommodations: The Wind Creek Bethlehem is offering complimentary rooms for planner members for the night of July 19th, and discounted rooms for supplier members at $149.00 plus tax for the night of July 19th. Planners, please book your room at the $149.00 rate. The room fee will be waived prior to when you check-in at the hotel. The cutoff date is Monday, July 3, 2023. To make a reservation, contact the Wind Creek Hotel Reservation’s Department at (877)-726-3777 and identify youself with the PCMA Greater Philadelphia Chapter.
Guests are required to provide a credit card to allow for incidental charges to their rooms. A hold of $50.00 per night will be placed on the provided credit card and will be applied to the incidentals balance or released upon check-out if not utilized.
Room rates are per room (single or double occupancy), per night and do not include Northampton County room tax and/or other taxes with similar application at the rate applicable at time of occupancy (“Governmental Taxes”). With the exception of children twelve (12) and under staying with an adult, an additional charge of $25.00 per night will be assessed for each occupant in excess of two (2).
The PCMA Philadelphia Chapter is a CMP Preferred Provider. This program, identified with the CMP Preferred Provider logo, meets the requirements to receive continuing education (CE) credit for the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) credential. The use of the CMP Preferred Provider Pre-Check logo is not an endorsement by the Events Industry Council of the quality of the session.
