Volunteer at the Philadelphia Marathon
November 21 @ 6:00 am EST
The PCMA PHL Community Service Committee invites you to volunteer at our annual water station at the 2021 Philadelphia Marathon! The event will be held on Sunday, November 21, and our time slot is from 6:00am-11:00am. We will be located at Water Stop #3 at 6th & Walnut. In our experience, this activity ends closer to 9:30am (depending on how fast we clean up the thousands of cups that will be recycled). We are working this station in coordination with a local running club. Our job is to set up thousands of cups of water and Gatorade, and handing out the cups to the ever-grateful runners. It’s very stimulating and inspiring! We know it’s an early morning, but this is for charity. In fact, there are over 24 charities supported by this event, so come and show you care!
Street parking is available on Walnut Street and on either side of 6th Street. You will receive a parking voucher when you arrive. All volunteers receive an official Philadelphia Marathon sweatshirt to wear at the event.
If interested, please follow the steps below to signup. Space is limited, and is assigned first come-first served, so please register soon!
